Melbourne University Boat Club has a long tradition of developing athletes of the highest standard, able to compete at the highest levels and determined to create their own history. 

Today, in partnership with the University of Melbourne, MUBC continues with the same passion and sense of mission. Put simply to be the best boat club, to attract and develop the best athletes and to succeed at the highest levels.

Our Performance Programs are led by Olympic Silver medallist and Australian Representative Coach Mr Matt Ryan. Matt leads a group of five professional coaches delivering high quality training and conditioning programs activated to drive your ambition and deliver on your rowing potential.  

The Performance Programs architecture provides athletes with a pathway from school rowing into Youth Development or University Rowing programs for student-athletes and progressing to our High-Performance program for Senior competitive rowing.
