Dear MUBC,
Last week saw one of the great Australian rowing Championships in recent memory with incredible, exhilarating and inspiring rowing performances from our fantastic athletes with results that every MUBC member, alumni and stakeholder can rightly be proud of.
MUBC Performance Highlights:
Gold – 7 event medals
Silver – 7 event medals
Bronze – 8 event medals
Forty crews or individual athletes contested A Finals.
Eight crews or individual athletes contested B Finals.
Fourth placed Club at regatta - Overall medals tally, fifth place Club - Gold medal tally
Twenty Athletes and three Coaches were selected to represent Victoria in the Interstate Regatta
The history making Queen's Cup winning Victorian 0W8+ crew representatives Lucy Stephan and Eliza Gaffney.
The history making Wilkinson Cup winning Victorian Men's U218+ crew consisted of all MUBC athletes of Marcus Cameron, Marty Kulesza, Arnold, Marcus Emmett, Fraser Miscamble, Nick Smith (Capt. Boats), James Scott, Harry Fox and Charlie Durkin (cox.)
The history making King's Cup winning Victorian OM8+ crew, MUBC representatives - Joshua Booth, Simon Keenan, Rohan Lavery, Stuart Sim (cox).
Twelve athletes invited to Australian Under 23 Trials
