Australian Rowing Team crews at MUBC

Training for MUBC’s Australian representatives is in full swing with some athletes departing Interstate whilst others continue their preparations here at the Boat Club. We have bid farewell to Eliza Gaffney, Jean Mitchell, Fraser Miscamble and Harry Fox but offer a warm welcome to Torben Ungemach from Mosman Rowing Club joining coach Matt Ryan and his crew preparing for the Mens U23 4-.

MUBC also welcomes the athletes of the Australian Womens Under 19 crew coached by Mitch Nelson. Good luck to all Australian representative athletes with approximately one month to go before departing for overseas.

RISING: MELBOURNE

MUBC is delighted to welcome the RISING: MELBOURNE arts festival to the Blue Room for the next ten days. Looking much like Mission Control the Blue Room will be busy with organisers and equipment. The festival kicks off tonight.

A special request for only very moderate music volume after 3.00pm. Maybe bring your Air Pods?

MUBC JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT program

MUBC welcomes athletes and their families participating in the MUBC Junior Development program over the next ten weeks. Over forty enthusiastic juniors have jumped at the opportunity to train with the best at the Boat Club led by coaches Matt Ryan, Mitch Nelson, Ed Fuller and Tom Minifie and ably supported by athletes from MUBC’s Youth Development squads.

Even out of season MUBC continues to pulse with energy.

See you on the water.
