University Rowing program news!
Semester Two 2020
The University Rowing program will operate during Semester Two (from Monday 3 August) for twelve-weeks and finishing in the last week of October.
The program is overseen by former Australian Under 23 Representative Alex Clarke with the main on-water focus of crew boats (ie: Fours, Quads and Eights).
Presently, lockdown restrictions have closed the Boathouse and preventing on-water activity but the program is continuing in the virtual realm with three supervised dry-land training sessions per week and group discussions. On-water training will resume with the lifting of restrictions and re-opening of the Boathouse.
How do I become involved?
To register your interest for this program please complete the attached University Rowing program application form and our program co-ordinator will contact you.
What is the cost?
Participation in the program during lockdown is at no cost for student-athletes as part of your Melbourne University Sport engagement.
Once we return to on-water training a cost of $19 per week per person will apply, billed through to the end of the semester.
